Nakabayashi Co., Ltd. in accordance with its Management Philosophy, aims through its business activities to contribute to society, earn the confidence of customers and exceed their expectations. For us, personal information is important property to be strictly managed, and a means to create value. We have accordingly established a Compliance Program for the Protection of Personal Information to protect customers’ personal information, as set forth below.
- Our company observes the Protection of Personal Information Act and other related laws and codes. In addition, we maintain a Compliance Program for the Protection of Personal Information in accordance with JISQ15001, and work towards our continuous improvement.
- Our company uses personal information strictly for the purpose expressly granted by the customers, such as for work entrusted to the company. We do not disclose or provide personal information to any third party without the consent from the customers or an adequate reason.
- Our company properly manages personal information and takes appropriate security measures in terms of technology and organization to prevent any unauthorized access, loss, destruction, falsification or leakage of personal information.
- Our company provides regular education to all employees on the protection of personal information, Nakabayashi’s Compliance Program for the Protection of Personal Information and related laws and other codes, and the proper handling of personal information.
- Our company maintains a section to receive inquires on personal information and handle requests from customers for disclosure of their personal information.
- Our company protects the personal information of our employees and job applicants.

The Privacy Mark is granted to a company engaged in a company-wide effort to protect personal information under a compliance program.Nakabayashi Co., Ltd. obtained certification for the Privacy Mark on March 11, 2003 from the Japan Information Processing Development Corporation (JIPDEC), and was recertified on June 17, 2005, which allows the company to use the mark for another two years.

| The ISO 14001 standard covers planning, management, product development, sales, delivery and office management for each line of various products manufactured by Nakabayashi. We will strive to reduce consumption of energy and resources, and generation of waste; and will perform environment-conscious planning, sales, and product development at above listed our branches and sales offices. |

Since 1923, Nakabayashi has developed a wide range of products for dairy use, building on the foundation of its original technology and experience in bookbinding: notebooks, refillable albums, office machines, storage containers, as well as library bookbinding services.
We recognize that these business activities and products have affected the global environment through the use of energy and natural resources, and the generation of waste. It is our goal now to help create a "recycling based society," through the conservation of resources and energy, and through the design, promotion and use of environment-friendly products.

FSC / CoC
|
FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) is a non-profit organization devoted to encouraging the responsible management of the world's forests. FSC sets high standards that ensure forestry is practiced in an environmentally responsible, socially beneficial, and economically viable way. The products that flow from
forestry consistent with FSC standards are allowed to be stuck "FSC label".
CoC (Chain of Custody) certification provides a guarantee about the production of FSC certified products. CoC is the path taken by raw materials from the forest to the consumer, including all successive stages of processing, transformation, manufacturing and distribution. FSC label represents a promise that is being made to them. CoC standards are the mechanism FSC has to ensure that "promise" is delivered. |
| Nakabayashi recognizes global environmental protection as the highest priority issue. We understand, observe, fulfill, and keep the requirements of each forest certification (FSC/CoC, PEFC/CoC) as a consistent manufacturer or a supplier of paper products. We will act in compliance with these certifications. |
